In this department, highly qualified maintenance approval personnel are educated according to the international standards for aviation sector. The Department of Avionics provides education in line with national and international regulatory requirements. In addition to theoretical courses, students receive practical training in avionics, microprocessors, computers, basic electrical electronics, electrical machinery, communication systems laboratories, and maintenance facilities within the Faculty. Students are admitted to the Department of Avionics through a central placement exam. The department offers a four-year bachelor's degree programme following a one-year optional English preparatory course. The mandatory internship period is forty working days. Students are provided with the opportunity to gain professional training and internship experience in real maintenance environments at airlines. Graduates can work in aircraft maintenance, maintenance management, quality, and technical departments at companies operating in the aviation sector.
